It’s difficult to believe that I’m writing such an article as this, claiming to have found a garage that has actually adopted, ‘old fashioned values’. You know what I mean, customers matter, whereby, not only will people spend their hard earned cash with us, but will continue to maintain any future patronage by treating folk as human beings. Wow! And so it was, my wife and I experienced a first class service at EMG, not just by the nice salesman who dealt with us, but by many of the other staff, which was so refreshing, albeit, unusual and may I add that in this day and age, almost alien! One thing that always annoys me when exchanging vehicles is, you are only quoted the (near) book value, which incidentally, means that estimates will be conveniently reduced, through one reason or another, and after the wool has been truly pulled over one’s eyes, it’s found that one is left with almost nothing, no matter how well one has tried to look after their four wheeled child. Actually, although this maybe company policy, what is really being ambiguously stated is, that personnel cannot be trusted, nor are competent, to offer an honest price for an exchange. So, I was quite astonished when I was given a more-than-a-fair price for my car, because I truly expected something in the region of pennies as opposed to what one hoped for, a reasonable offer. EMG cannot be praised enough for their hard working staff, who are very helpful, friendly and constantly display a cheerful disposition. To add credence to my claim about this company, my daughter when put out, can only be described as the reinvasion of the Vikings! However, she has purchased two cars from EMG, and has only praise for the services provided. So there! I’ll add an update after using my new member to the family.
