Vets

Village Vet Milton Hospital

26 Cambridge Rd, Milton, Cambridge CB24 6AW, UK – 01223 426600

Village Vet Milton are an excellent vet practice and I can't rate them highly enough. Our dog's been very ill on numerous occasions since he was a puppy and I'm sure that if it wasn't for the fantastic staff at the practice he wouldn't be with us now. The receptionists, nurses and vets have all been friendly, compassionate and highly professional. I'd never consider taking my dog anywhere else and he still loves everyone who works there despite his numerous appointments. Thank you Village Vet, without you we wouldn't have our best friend.

We have been bringing our cats to Village Vet Milton for check-ups and treatment for several years, and have enjoyed consistently high levels of customer care and expertise in all areas, but our recent experience has exceeded even this. Kristina Peters dealt with our cat's inevitably terminal illness with great compassion and resourcefulness: thanks to her expertise, our girl's final days were comfortable, and her passing dignified. The human face of professionalism: we thoroughly recommend them across the board, from their receptionists to their expert vets.

Arbury Road Veterinary Surgery

32 Arbury Rd, Cambridge CB4 2JE, UK – 01223 361911

Very friendly and caring. Check out the male vet who has the calming voice in the world.

Everyone at Arbury Road is friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. Robert recently had to give us bad news about our cat, and we couldn't imagine having the situation and the options explained in a more sympathetic way.

Hollyoak Veterinary Surgery

St George's Way, Impington CB24 9AF, UK – 01223 232111

I've had good experiences of taking my dog to Hollyoak over the years for various health issues. However I don't feel I received good advice there about my dog's behaviour. My dog has had behavioural problems and we have seen a behaviourist (unconnected with Hollyoak) for these issues who has been really helpful. However before Christmas her behaviour became much worse and knowing that when she is in pain her behaviour becomes worse I was keen to establish if there was a physical/medical reason. The vet told me that I should think about getting our dog put down and didn't do a thorough examination. She didn't take my dog's temperature. However, two weeks later we were back and a back problem was diagnosed and she had a temperature. After being put onto pain killers and anti-inflammatories her behaviour improved immediately. I was very disappointed with this visit and don't feel inclined to go back.

I've had my last 3 dogs looked after by the staff at hollyoakes and I'm more than pleased with everyone at the practice. Every one is loving to our pets and they really love coming to the vets.!!! Can't recommend them highly enough. A brilliant vets.👍
